You are invited to visit our Prayer Wall

Jesus talked with his followers on a hillside one day.  He told them that they didn’t need fancy words or formulas for prayer.  He reminded them-and he reminds us that God already knows what we need.  There on that hillside Jesus taught his followers a simple prayer.

Part of that prayer is a petition to God: “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”  Forgiveness will be our focus during this Lenten Season.

We will have a prayer wall set up in our Christian Life Center.  You are invited to leave a prayer tucked in one of the many cracks and crevices you’ll find there.  Feel free to leave a prayer before or after worship, during Sunday School, or whenever the Spirit moves you.  There is more than enough room on the wall for all of our trespasses.

Jesus taught the people to say:  “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
